NATURE
A few years ago, as my parents, Mel and Merle, were driving Helene, Olive and me to DFW airport, during a thunderstorm, a giant white column of lightning came right at the car and split in half striking the road on either side, blasting big holes and spewing out red hot chunks of superheated rock. We did not stop to check the holes, but sped away from that location at top speed marveling amongst ourselves.
ODDITY
One morning, Helene was leaving out the back door to go to the city. She was wearing a dress with slightly metallic fabric. As we embraced and kissed, we both heard a radio station really loud inside each of our heads for a long moment, which was exceedingly strange. So much so, that she wasn't going to say anything, but I brought it up.
